She LOVES popcorn! She is obsessed with Creativity! She is a Cheerleader of “aha” moments!
Hence, Popcorn Creativity was born!
She helps individuals, teams and executives to take their creative thinking skills to the next level so that they can foster greater personal, career and business success.
She has a Masters in Social Science. She worked for many years at the CSIR, as a social science researcher, then a senior human development officer and then finally she headed up the CSIR Learning, Leadership and Innovation Academy, where she developed, assessed and facilitated various training programmes across different business and research sectors at the CSIR. Her curiosity for Creativity was pricked while watching in awe how scientists, researchers and engineers came up with their ‘aha’ moments resulting in ground-breaking innovation products and processes. She then started studying Creativity and Innovation, and developed the CSIR’s first Creative Thinking Programme.
After a satisfying and fulfilling career at the CSIR, she then joined her daughter Taryn-lee Kearney to follow her passion of making a difference through training, development, coaching and facilitation. Some of their clients worked with include African Bank, Anglo America, Sasol, Distell, Rectron, Asus.
One of their signature programmes is the Popcorn Creativity Programme that aims to supercharge people’s ‘aha’ moments and develop the skills and creative mind-set for personal and business success. She is also a NBI Brain Practitioner, with several years of doing assessments, training and coaching with individuals and teams and different companies.
